Delta Electronics (2308) announced that it will officially bid farewell to the cold cathode tube (CCFL) from March 2, and will fully spur the field of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and e-books in the future.
The company's cold cathode tube division does not have a brand outlet for end products, so it has announced in early December 2009 that it will terminate related business and plant operations, with March 1, 2010 as the base date.
