I. Application conditions
(1) using the district and city as the reporting unit;

The local government has a relatively complete LED industry chain, with integrated innovation and joint research in the optoelectronic industry. Technological innovation talents and teams;
(III) At the end of the implementation period of the demonstration city, the number of LED functional lighting products for street lamps, tunnel lights, subways (light rail), gas stations and underground parking lots shall not be less than 10,000 baht.

At the meeting, the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology put forward the idea of ​​carrying out the "Ten Cities and Ten Thousands" LED Application Pilot Demonstration City to apply the demonstration to stimulate domestic demand and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
Regarding how to carry out the work of the "Ten Cities and Ten Thousands" LED Pilot Demonstration City, the preliminary plan for the implementation plan proposed by the Hi-tech Division's counterpart business office is: through the use of LED in the municipal lighting application demonstration project as a carrier, select 10 cities, each The city promotes the use of LED function lighting (street lights, tunnel lights, subway (light rail), gas stations, underground parking lots and other functional lighting) more than 10,000 baht. According to the technical efficiency of the LED products, the energy-saving effect of the application, and the economic and social benefits obtained, the post-subsidy method is adopted, and the subsidy is 30-50% of the investment increase compared with the traditional lighting according to the LED lighting. However, no documents have been issued yet.
On the morning of March 16 this year, the High-tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology held a seminar on the implementation of the “Ten Cities and Ten Thousand Miles LED Lighting Application Demonstration City Program†in Beijing. This meeting was the launching seminar of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The content of the meeting was to listen to the suggestions for the pilot demonstration work of the "Ten Cities and Ten Thousand Cities" and discuss the work plan for the pilot demonstration cities. The meeting decided to intensify the pilot work and pilot scope of the "Ten Cities and Ten Thousand Cities" pilot project, and approved more than 20 pilot cities in 2009.
