The company let us experimentally develop COB packaged LED fluorescent lamps.
First, I tested it with a silver-plated aluminum substrate . Although it seems that the heat is not enough, the cost will be much lower. If this solution is feasible and adopted by other manufacturers, we will die. I am afraid that even the work will be lost. Try it, don't say it again.
The thermal conductivity of the selected silver-plated aluminum substrate is 2.5W/M·K, and the glue is expensive. As a result, the measured light decay is still unqualified. It is not acceptable to use an aluminum substrate for COB.
The price of copper is about 3.5 times that of aluminum. The thermal conductivity is much better. Shenzhen has silver-plated copper substrates for sale. After testing, COB packaged LED fluorescent lamps are qualified under less than 6W, and high power is not enough. The copper substrate for COB is not good either.
The COB packaged LED fluorescent lamp was tested with a thermal conductivity of 21 W/M·K ceramic substrate. As a result, of course, Hong Kong and Hong Kong, but such products are also expensive. Ceramic substrates for COB are still not working.
The conclusion is that current COB packaged LED fluorescent lamps are simply not feasible.

Advantage 1: Once the mass production price of the ceramic substrate is greatly reduced. Advantage 2: When the luminous efficiency of the LED chip reaches 200LM/W, the heat generation will be small, and the copper substrate for the COB package is sufficient, even the aluminum substrate. The disadvantage is that in the future, domestic placement machines and other equipment are cheap and easy to use, and the total cost of COB is more difficult to compete with the total cost of SMT.
LED fluorescent lamp COB package copper substrate or ceramic substrate is really unknown, because it is affected by many uncertain factors.
