Rainbow's first OLED product successfully lit

Recently, Rainbow Group's first OLED product was successfully lighted in Foshan, Guangdong. This marks a key breakthrough in the OLED technology with independent research and development capabilities of Rainbow, and also indicates that the road to large-scale operation of OLED products is coming.

The total investment of Rainbow Phase I OLED project is 508 million yuan, with an annual output of 12 million PMOLED products. After the project started construction, it broke through the technical bottleneck and achieved a successful test drive. One by one, the yellow light, the evaporation, and the module process were smoothly produced.

It is understood that the second phase of the AMOLED project has also officially started on November 8, 2010. Two 4.5-generation AMOLED production lines will be built. The total investment of the project is 9.46 billion yuan. After completion, it can produce more than 40 million AMO LED displays annually. The person in charge of the Rainbow Group said that the PMOLED products will be rolled out smoothly and will accelerate the construction of the second phase of the AMOLED project.
