Approved by the Shandong Provincial Civil Affairs Department, the Shandong Lighting Society was formally established.
The inaugural meeting was held in Jinan on January 10, 2009. Wang Jinwei, chairman of the China Lighting Society, sent a congratulatory letter. Executive Vice President and Secretary General Xu Huai attended the inaugural meeting and delivered a speech. More than 100 representatives from group members and senior members from all over Shandong attended the inaugural meeting.
Shandong Lighting Society is a social group composed of lighting science and technology workers in Shandong Province. It aims to unite and organize lighting science and technology workers in the province, and actively carry out academic exchanges, scientific popularization, scientific and technological consulting services, scientific and technological training, editing and publishing of scientific journals and international folks. Exchange activities to promote the rapid and healthy development of the lighting industry, and contribute to the establishment of Shandong into a major lighting industry. After the establishment of the Society, it will be committed to building five major platforms, namely: research service platform, project cooperation platform, information exchange platform, learning promotion platform and integrity culture platform.
After democratic elections, the conference elected the first leadership group. The chief engineer of Shandong Institute of Architectural Design Wu Enyuan served as the chairman of the board of directors. The secretary-general was appointed by the president of Shandong Tsinghua Conley Urban Lighting Research and Design Institute.
As a member of the China Lighting Society, the Shandong Lighting Society, under the leadership of the Shandong Association of Science and Technology, will certainly be better and better, and make positive contributions to promoting economic development and promoting social harmony in Shandong Province.
