TE ConnecTIvity (TE) exhibited the TE VR glider (exhibition limited edition) with HTC Vive at the 2016 CEATEC JAPAN 2016. The live stage design was inspired by TE's theme “Energy-Connected IoT Worldâ€, and the VR glider fully demonstrates the innovative technology of TE connector products.
The TE VR glider consists of the world's top virtual reality devices HTC Vive and TE gliders. During the construction of the glider, TE used a range of high-efficiency, high-performance connector products for harsh environments, including dynamic connectors, heat-shrink tubing, and automotive sensors. It is worth mentioning that TE has customized a high-speed input/output (HSIO) three-in-one cable solution for HTC Vive to ensure product stability and reliability.
