The Weilai ES8, which recently proposed the "replacement mode", announced that it will complete the battery replacement within 3 minutes by constructing a "replacement station". However, this "replacement" model has also triggered new doubts. Some consumers have bluntly told reporters that the safety and use of batteries during use are not simple problems.
Switching mode triggers attentionIt is understood that the power exchange plan given by Weilai is a power station that covers an area of ​​three parking spaces and can be replaced in three minutes.
The reporter noted that Tesla had previously announced a power-changing plan, but it was not widely used because of its high cost and low efficiency.
For this program of Weilai, some industry insiders who do not want to be named privately told reporters that due to the continuous increase of battery capacity, the mobile phone industry that had previously adopted the power-changing mode has also abandoned this method. It is understood that according to the plan, Wei Lai will propose to put more than 1,200 mobile charging vehicles by 2020, to achieve 100-hour battery life for 10 minutes, and to build more than 1,100 power stations.
However, Li Bin also admitted to the reporter that the layout of the power station cannot be achieved overnight. "The deployment of hundreds of large cities in the first line can be done," but for other places, a process is really needed.
