Most of the videos can be played well in mpc, but hevc is a newly emerging video codec. The built-in encoder of mpc is still somewhat inadequate when playing the hevc code. 1. Open your MPC-HC player, right-click menu and select "Options". Open the settings dialog.
2. In the dialog box that pops up, click the "Extended Filter" tab and click "Add Filter"

5. After the addition is completed, two check boxes will appear in the Options dialog box:

To check all of them, in order to enable the enforcement of the two external filters, it is recommended to set it as "Preferred" in the right column (both are set to be preferred).
6. Click on the "Inner Filter" tab, find HEVC in the "Conversion Filter" column and remove the check (since you have decided to use an external filter, there is no need to use the built-in one here)
7. Click OK to close the Options dialog box. Try playing the test video. See if it has been used successfully.
If you do not want to use these external filters, you can uncheck or remove them from the external filter, then check the internal filters and restart mpc
