"Reading and Burning" photo sharing application Spectacles, the parent company of Snapchat's Snap's smart glasses, will finally land in Europe.
Snap announced on Friday that it will launch its Spectacles smart glasses in the European market, and is ready to sell through its Snapbot vending machine and Spectacles.com website.
The smart glasses are priced at £129.99 in the UK and €149.99 in the European market.
According to Snap, Spectacles smart glasses will be sold on Snapbot vending machines in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
Snap announced its Spectacles smart glasses for the first time in 2016. They do not look like ordinary glasses, except that they have a camera on each end of the lens.
You can press a button to start recording video or taking a photo, and then send the video or photo to the Snapchat app.
Snap also plans to sell smart glasses on its Spectacles.com website. The smart glasses are now ready to be sold in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
