Structure characteristics of the pointer multimeter and digital multimeter

1. Structure characteristics of the pointer multimeter

The pointer multimeter is a multimeter that uses a pointer to indicate the measured value. It is an analog display multimeter that can be used to measure resistance, DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, transistor magnification measurement and measurement decibel value.

(1) The structure of the pointer multimeter. It usually consists of a meter head, a dial, a housing, a test lead, a transfer switch, a regulating component, a battery, a rectifier, and a resistor. The head is generally a magnetoelectric micro-ampere DC ammeter with high internal resistance and high sensitivity. It is the main component of the multimeter. It consists of a pointer, a magnetic circuit system, a deflection system and a dial. The dial is printed with various symbols. , scale R and value. Before using the multimeter, you should correctly understand the meaning of the various symbol letters on the dial and the reading of each scale. The transfer switch is used to select the geodetic project and range. Most multimeters have only one transfer switch, while the 500-type multimeter uses two transfer switches to select the test item and range. Use the "-" #-mechanical adjustment component in the center of the watch to adjust the position of the head hand when it is at rest (the pointer should be at the "0" on the left side of the dial when it is still). The zero adjustment knob is only used when measuring the resistance. The multimeter has two test leads, one is a black test pen, and the "one" end jack of the watch is used (the positive pole of the battery inside the watch is connected during the electric blocking); the other is the red test pen, and the "+" of the multimeter is connected. End boring (in the case of electrical blocking, the negative electrode of the meter is internally connected, the 2500V voltage terminal jack, and the 5A current terminal jack.

(2) A commonly used pointer type multimeter. Commonly used pointer type multimeters include MF-lO type, MF-30 type, and MF-35 type. MF-47, MF-50 and 500.

2. The structural characteristics of the digital multimeter.

The digital multimeter uses a liquid crystal display (LCD or LED) digital display.

A multimeter that indicates the measured value has the advantages of intuitive display and high accuracy.

(1) The structure of the digital multimeter. It usually consists of a display, a display driver circuit, a dual-integral analog-to-digital (A/D) converter, an AC-DC converter circuit, a transfer switch, a test leads, a socket, a power switch, various test circuits, and protection circuits.

The display generally uses an LCD, the portable digital multimeter uses a three-and-a-half-digit LCD liquid crystal display, and the desktop digital multimeter uses a five-and-a-half-digit LCD liquid crystal display. The display driver circuit and the dual-integration A/D converter usually use an ASIC, which converts the analog quantity sent from each test circuit into a digital quantity, and directly drives the LCD to display the measured value.

(2), commonly used digital multimeter. Commonly used digital multimeters include DT-830, DT-860, DT-890, DT-930, DT-940, DT-960, DT-980, DT-1000 and other models.
