ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards have risen by up to 15%

Industry news estimates that ASUS shipped about 2 million motherboards in April this year, and the target of 5.7 million in the second quarter is expected to be achieved smoothly, tying the first quarter.

In addition to stable shipments of conventional channels for the United States, Europe, DIY channels, and first and second-tier cities in mainland China, Asustek also shipped more motherboards to small and medium-sized cities in China's four to six lines and other developing markets.

ASUS's gross profit margin in the second quarter is also expected to remain slightly higher than the 25% level, which is basically the same as the first quarter. This is mainly due to the increase in average selling price of the motherboard and strong demand for high-end models.

Since the beginning of this year, the prices of mainboards from Asustek and Gigabyte have both increased by 5-15%, and the upcoming Z68 chipset series motherboards will also be set at relatively high prices.

ASUS Z68 motherboard first three models P68Z68 Deluxe, P8Z68-V Pro, P8Z68-V, will later add two player country models Maximus IV Extreme-Z, Maximus IV GENE-Z.
