The newly-added “10-million-kilowatt” installed key project in Chongqing Municipality has made new progress in the expansion of two 660-kilowatt generating units at Anwen Power Plant: The groundbreaking of the project on May 18 marked the commencement of construction of this key project.

The Anwen Power Plant Expansion Project was expanded on the basis of the 2×150,000 kilowatt generating units of Phase 1 of Anshen Power Plant. The project dynamic investment is 5.2 billion yuan. According to the "Hengkou power plant" and "coal power integration" approach, two advanced 660,000 kilowatts of domestically produced supercritical coal-fired generating units are introduced, and simultaneous construction of desulfurization and desulphurization devices is expected to be completed and put into production within two years. .

The project investor—Li Wenshu, general manager of Chongqing Energy Group Songzao Coal and Electricity Co., said that as the main power source of Chongqing power grid, after the expansion project is put into operation, it will add 1.23 million kilowatts of installed capacity to Chongqing, and the annual power generation will reach 6.6 billion kwh. , can further ease the city's power shortage.

As the largest thermal power project invested by the municipal state-owned enterprises, after the expansion project of Anwen Power Plant was put into operation, it could basically digest most of the clean coal produced by the two coal washing plants of Songzao Coal and Power Company and achieve clean production.
