Routine maintenance is mainly to monitor the start and operation of the motor, so as to detect abnormal phenomena in time and protect them before accidents occur. This mainly depends on watching, touching, listening, sniffing, asking and monitoring ammeters, voltmeters, thermometers, etc.
(1) Pay attention to the sound and vibration of the motor. Listen to the running sound of the motor with the listening stick, touch the front end of the rod to the bearing of the motor, and the other side to the ear. If you listen to the normal sound, you can hear an abnormal sound. For vibration, the tactile sensation can be judged.
(2) smell. When the motor is overloaded and the ventilation is blocked and overheated, or the insulation is broken down and burnt, the insulation escaping will be emitted and the abnormality will be easily detected.
(3) Temperature. The temperature during normal operation of the motor should not exceed the permissible limits. Simple discrimination can put the palm flat on the motor casing. If it can not stay for a long time, it can be considered that the temperature is above 60 °C; if it can only stay for 1~1.5s with fingers, it indicates that the temperature has reached 80 °C or more; if the finger touches the residence time Shorter, indicating that the motor may burn out.
(4) Current. Observe the ammeter on the switchboard or measure the three-phase current with a clamp ammeter. The three-phase current should be basically balanced and does not exceed the rated current specified on the nameplate. If it exceeds, check whether there is overload, voltage drop, voltage imbalance or transmission mechanism jam, poor lubrication, etc., and eliminate it.
(5) Voltage. If the power supply voltage is too high, too low or the three phases are unbalanced, it will cause the motor to overheat and other abnormalities.
(6) Bearings: It should be checked for heat and oil leakage, as well as for abnormal noise, and regularly add or replace lubricant (fat). In places where there is a lot of dust and when the bearing temperature exceeds 60 °C, it is necessary to shorten the replacement cycle. The grease added should not exceed 2/3 of the bearing chamber volume.
(7) Appearance. Observe whether the motor inlet and outlet are blocked by dirt and debris, whether the motor is exposed to water or oil, whether the casing is covered by dust, whether the protection ground (zero) is good, and whether the tension of the belt is appropriate.
(8) Slip ring and carbon brush. For the winding type motor, always check the slip ring of the motor for eccentric oscillation, observe whether the spark of the slip ring is too large, whether the surface of the slip ring is smooth, and whether there is any trace of burns; check whether the pressure of the carbon brush is sufficient, whether the carbon brush is Need to be replaced.
In addition, the motor must be minorly repaired, repaired and overhauled regularly.
