Sky blind intelligent LED lights can share weather conditions in real time

When chatting with friends and relatives in different places, the weather is the most common topic. People always want to know the weather conditions in the Other region and share the local weather conditions with each other. Designers from the Fabricic Communications Research Center at the Benetton Group in Italy have designed a set of luminaries called "Patch of Sky" that allows you and your friends and family to share local weather conditions in real time. This set of lamps includes three different sizes and shapes, named after three weather-related gods in ancient Egypt: Fengshen Amun, Storm God Set, and Tienian Rainflake Tefnut.

These fixtures can be used as desk lamps or wall lamps, each of which can be used to obtain the user's current location information from the user's Facebook account and display the current weather conditions via a color LED animation. The designer provides 11 animation effects to simulate different weather conditions.

The Sky Blind is based on Arduino and BERGCloud, which connect the fixtures to the Internet. Users use the Facebook account to register when they use it. The party accepting the weather information can connect the router to the BERGCloud Bridge to connect the lights to the Internet.

Of course, if you want to see your local weather conditions with your friends, both sides need to install Sky Mask.
