Hubei Yihua Enters Qaidam Qinghai Chlor-alkali and Cogeneration Project

On July 30, the key project in the overall plan of the Qaidam circular economy pilot zone - the foundation stone laying ceremony for the chlor-alkali and cogeneration project of the low-carbon recycling economy industrial park was held in Delingha City, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Governor, and Chai Luo Yulin, director of the administrative committee of the Takimu Circular Economy Experimental Zone, announced the start of the project.

The low-carbon recycling economy industrial park chlor-alkali and cogeneration project is one of the major projects of the province's layout in the Delingha Circular Economy Industrial Park. The commencement of construction of the project will play an important role in extending the industrial chain of circular economy and driving the development of related industries. After the project is completed, it will make positive contributions to the economic development, adjustment of industrial structure, and development of circular economy in the Hercynian and even the province.

It is understood that Hubei Yihua is one of the top ten enterprises in China's petrochemical industry and has R&D centers and manufacturing bases in Beijing, Hubei, and Hunan. The group focuses on the development of fertilizers, chemicals, mining development, power, finance and other industries. Last year, Hubei Yihua entered Qaidam and established Qinghai Chaidamu Yihua Co., Ltd., which owns two companies: Qinghai Chaidamu Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd. and Qinghai Chaidamu Yihua Thermal Power Co., Ltd. The company’s industrial park in Delingha covers an area of ​​4,000 mu. The project plans to build an annual output of 1.2 million tons of PVC, 1 million tons of caustic soda, 1.8 million tons of calcium carbide, 2 million tons of coking, 180,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 300,000 tons of urea, and 2× 300,000 KW cogeneration project, total investment of 17.2 billion yuan. Among them, in the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Qinghai Qaidam Chemical Co., Ltd. plans to invest 9 billion yuan to build an annual output of 600,000 tons of PVC, 500,000 tons of caustic soda, 1 million tons of calcium carbide, 2×300,000 KW of cogeneration and 100 Ten thousand tons of coking project, after the project is completed, it can realize annual sales income of 6 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 1.97 billion yuan, providing employment for 4,500 people.

According to reports, Qinghai Chaidamu Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd. adopts Aiken-type sealed calcium carbide furnace, Japan chlorine project repolarization cell ion-exchange membrane caustic soda production technology, suspended PVC production process, making full use of the abundant Qaidam area Coal, electricity, industrial salt and other resources, focus on the development of new technology industrialization demonstration projects. Qinghai Chaidamu Yihua Thermal Power Co., Ltd. adopts a 300MW subcritical, once intermediate reheat, indirect air condensing gas turbogenerator set, and configures a 2×1156T/h intermediate reheat and subcritical natural circulation pulverized coal fired boiler. The project will serve as a centralized heating center for the Ringhe Circular Economy Industrial Park and provide heating services for the park.
