Jiangsu-UK energy saving and smart grid cooperation and exchange seminar

On February 23, 2011, the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Committee organized the Jiangsu-British Energy Saving and Smart Grid Cooperation and Exchange Seminar in Nanjing. Representatives of the Jiangsu Economic and Information Commission and the British Consulate General in Shanghai delivered speeches. The relevant person in charge of the Jiangsu Electric Power Company attended the seminar and introduced the progress of the Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Company in the construction of smart grids.

The relevant person in charge of the State Grid Institute of Electrical Power introduced the latest progress in the research and construction of smart grids in terms of smart grid planning and standards, key technology research and development, equipment development, test capacity building, pilot project construction, and foreign cooperation and exchange. The British smart grid delegation was very shocked by the outstanding achievements made by the State Grid Corporation of China and the State Grid Institute of Electric Power in all areas of the smart grid, and stated that it will strengthen the technical exchanges and cooperation with the State Grid Institute of Electrical Engineering. State Grid Research Institute of Electrical Power said that it will continue to strengthen the smart grid research, strengthen the leading role of standards, improve the international power of the State Grid Corporation, make full use of the national grid company's brand and resource advantages, build a world-class power equipment companies, in promoting energy production and The use of changes in the way to build a safe, stable, economical and clean modern energy industry system contributes its own strength.

The meeting exchanged experiences of China and the United Kingdom in the technology, application, management and policy of the smart grid industry, which laid the foundation for the next step to promote the in-depth technological exchanges and cooperation between Jiangsu Province and the United Kingdom in smart grid and energy conservation.
