A summary of 2017 global AI top experts

Some insiders believe that the three major trends in recent years have promoted the explosion of artificial intelligence. One is high-performance computing power, the other is powerful algorithms, and the third is massive data.

Artificial intelligence technology has been able to recognize pictures, voices with extremely high accuracy, and even outperform top human players in chess and Go. Due to the development of machine learning technology, every day we will hear about the latest advances in artificial intelligence, whether it is for medical health or about Go games. What we often don't notice is that there are human cleverness behind these successful robots.

The rapid changes we see today are due to the efforts of the entire industry and academia. Researchers are exploring better ways to use data that is generated and collected by humans.

Some of the heavyweight researchers have made important breakthroughs in the field of machine learning. At present, these technological advancements have become the basis for our development of digital tools that apply artificial intelligence to social networks, driverless cars, and industrial Internet.

1. Wu Enda

Wu Enda recently resigned as Baidu’s chief data scientist. In addition, he is the founder of the online education platform Coursera and an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stanford University.

Before joining Baidu, he created the Brain AI research department of Google (microblogging), focusing on deep learning technology. At Stanford University, his lead projects include the development of Stanford Artificial Intelligence Robots (STAIR) and algorithms for generating 3D digital models using a single 2D photo.

2. Joshua Begio

As a professor of computer science at the University of Montreal, Bengio is known for his research in intelligent neural networks and deep learning. He has said that the most important motivation behind his research is to understand the principle of "acquiring intelligence through learning." Many of his public work focuses on automatic encoders. This technique is used to encode unstructured data so that it can be understood by computers without monitoring machine learning techniques.

3. Yann LeCunn

Lekun has been the head of artificial intelligence research at Facebook since 2013. He is a pioneer in computer vision technology, which allows computers to identify objects in a human-like manner and classify objects. He is also considered to be one of the inventors of the convolutional neural network model. The goal of convolutional neural networks is to acquire and express information in a manner similar to the human eye or brain. He is the founder of the New York University Data Science Center.

U.2 SFF-8639

SFF-8639 cable is a type of cable associated with the SFF-8639 connector, which is part of the Small Form Factor (SFF) family of connectors used primarily in the data storage industry. SFF-8639 is also known as U.2 connector. This connector and cable standard are designed to support high-speed data transfer between storage devices and host systems. This kind of cable has a lot of advantages such as High Data Transfer Rates,Power Delivery,Density and Form Factor,Enterprise-Grade Reliability,Hot-Swapping Capability,High-Capacity Storage Support and etc.
