Energy meter accuracy level

(1) China's national standards stipulate that the accuracy level of active energy meters is 1.0 and 2.0. At the same time, it is stipulated that under the conditions of rated voltage, rated current, rated frequency and cosφ=1, the 1.0-level three-phase electric energy meter works 5000h, and after the other electric energy meter works for 3000h, the basic error should still meet the requirements of the original accuracy level.

(2) An important indicator of the performance of the energy meter is the range of load currents that it can be applied. In the process of using the general energy meter, the circuit does not allow frequent short circuit or the load exceeds 125% of the rated value. However, there is a "wide load electric energy meter", which can expand its current use range, and can ensure that the basic error does not exceed the originally specified value within a certain range of several times the calibration current.
